Finished binge watching “Bosch” on this cold last day of February. Great job Amazon!

Me at the home place.

Had lunch with Mom, Donna, Jim and Jill in Winnsboro today. I was there for 5 hours and 29 minutes. How do I know this? I left my car running the ENTIRE time I was there! I’ve had my car since June, and I still get out and leave it running! The good news is that it is a hybrid, so it cost me like $.30 in gas to idle in Mom’s driveway the extra time! #priusproblems
Waiting in line. It seems like I’ve spent a good portion of my life waiting in line. (at Brookshire’s Bergfeld Center)

I didn’t like to give everybody in my elementary homeroom class a Valentine, but it was the right thing to do. Besides the folks made me!
Surprisingly, it wasn’t like that with everyone. Some kids didn’t get many Valentines in their decorated boxes. What kind of shitty parents would not make their kids give a Valentine card to everyone in their class? Assholes!
To intentionally hurt a kid’s feelings by not giving him or her a Valentine is a shitty thing to do. Yep. That’s how I was raised. (Except for the swearing part.) Thanks, Ma and Pop!
Happy Valentine’s Day! Peace and love, peace and love!
My apologies go out to all of my friends who have the name Jason today. You will probably be subjected to many bad jokes.
This photo was taken near Montgomery, Louisiana, sometime in the 1970’s. It’s my dad with his brothers and sisters. Left to right, Uncle Nate, Aunt Eula, Uncle Frank, Aunt Opal, Uncle Junior (Joseph Gilmer), and Pop (Weymon).
This had to be taken sometime after November 1976. That is when my grandmother (Maw Maw) passed away; otherwise, she would have been in the photo. Uncle Nate is the only surviving child of Joseph Gilmer Lestage, Sr. (April 29, 1905 - January 15, 1969) and Mary Nora Gongre Lestage (June 20, 1906 - November 8, 1976).
Guys, I wanted to let you know about a personal decision I recently made. I don’t really feel like discussing it, but I want to put my position out there. Please be respectful. This is a really long post, but please read the whole thing.
I’m taking the brakes off my car. This isn’t a rash…
